DESCRIPTION

An advanced peptide serum that helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

USAGE

After cleansing (Calming Aloe Cleanser) and toning (Hydrating Tonic), apply a small amount to the entire face and neck. Once absorbed, follow with moisturizer (Botanical Day Cream) and/or my sun protection product (Ultra Tint SPF 30). May be used twice daily.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-3

Improves micro circulation, increasing the oxygen supply to tissues, strengthens and protects the integrity of elastin and collagen in the skin by inhibiting elastase and collagenase activity. Its benefits include reduction of puffiness and dark circles around the eyes and a softening of fine lines and wrinkles.

Hexapeptide-11

Considered the “firming” peptide, it has been shown to “upregulate” the genes responsible for collagen and elastin production. This peptide is thought to play a role in improving skin elasticity, skin lipid integrity and development.

Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4

Also known as Matrixyl, it has been proven to stimulate the development of new collagen, fibernectin, elastin and GAGs in the dermal layer of the skin. It creates a healing response in the skin. It is a combination of five amino acid peptides in one chain.

Panthenol

This highly moisturizing ingredient aids in tissue repair and stimulates cellular proliferation. Panthenol also helps the skin promote wound healing and is antiinflammatory. Its ability to attract water from the environment provides added hydration and suppleness to the skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid)

This ingredient occurs naturally in the dermis layer. Its water absorbing abilities help the epidermis achieve much needed suppleness and moisture. Known for its wonderful water binding ability, this acid holds water tightly, and when applied to the skin, forms a film similar to the way it holds water in the intercellular matrix of the dermal connective tissue. It is also useful as a carrier for other extracts and active ingredients.

Lentinula Edodes (Shitake Mushroom Extract)

A skin strengthener obtained from plants, this ingredient is beneficial for firming the skin, increasing the elasticity and tone of mature skin. Rich in oligosaccharides and uronic acids from Shitake, this active ingredient enables the skin to combat the degradation of collagen and elastin fibers.

Hydrolyzed Collagen

Beneficial for its ability to retain moisture in the corneum layer, it creates a film that keep the water “locked in” reducing dehydration. A humectant and an anti-irritant, this stable protein is known to be non-allergic to all skin types.

Hydrolyzed Elastin

This refined ingredient is very effective in helping eliminate dryness, enhance flexibility and improve texture of the skin. It influences the formation of topocollagen fibers when used with soluble collagen. It helps improve the overall appearance, softness and suppleness of the skin.

This advanced encapsulated retinol serum brings together active ingredients that help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging, without irritation. Also helpful for acne, pigmentation, and scarring.

USAGE

Apply 3 to 4 times per week and gradually increased to daily use. Recommended for PM use only. Wear the Ultra Tint SPF 30 daily.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Retinol (0.75%)

A form of Vitamin A known to improve the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring. This highly effective ingredient works by stimulating the production of collagen, increasing cell turnover rate, and improving the skin’s barrier function resulting in an overall smoother, brighter complexion.

Niacinamide

A form of Vitamin B3 that is known to improve the skin’s barrier function, increase the natural production of ceramides, and reduce inflammation. It also works to brighten hyperpigmentation by inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes.

Sodium Hyaluronate

A water-soluble salt extracted from Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Unlike traditional HA, Sodium Hyaluronate has a much lower molecular weight. This enables it to penetrate deeper into the epidermis and hydrate the skin more effectively. Several studies have shown Sodium Hyaluronate promotes the production of beta-defensin 2 (DEFß2) - a compound that promotes tissue healing and decreases inflammation.

DESCRIPTION

This physical sunscreen provides protection from both UVA and UVB rays. Lightly tinted to help reduce the appearance of redness and uneven pigmentation.

USAGE

After cleansing (Calming Aloe Cleanser and Hydrating Tonic) and moisturizing (Botanical Day Cream), apply to an entire face and neck areas 15-30 minutes prior to sun exposure. Reapply as needed.

Humectant found naturally in skin. Helps maintain the outer barrier and prevent dryness.

Zinc Oxide (6.0%)

It blocks both UVA and UVB rays and provides the broadest spectrum protection of any single sunscreen ingredient. Ingredient also recognized as a treatment for calming the skin.

Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis)
